My name is Vasilis and I am a Greek- Australian English teacher working in Saudi Arabia and have been for the last 7 years. I have a wife, a 21 year old son and 9 year old daughter.
We are coming to Australia in late June for a two month holiday this year prior to returning home to Melbourne for good in 2018.
House sitting appeals to us for a number of reasons. We are animal lovers and have cats of our own. Both myself and my wife (Viktoria) and our kids (Ilia and Sofia) are particularly good with all kinds of animals and love looking after them. During our last holiday in Greece we had booked accommodation in guest homes situated on farms (plenty of pictures available if you wish to see).

We have not done any prior house sitting officially, though I did so once or twice long ago in Melbourne for a friend and minded her dogs, and in Riyadh we looked after friends' cats while they were away. We can provide character references from if required, and my mother and sister are both living in Clayton Victoria, and could also be contacted as further security. I have a police clearance from my last visit to Melbourne in 2014 and a recent one from Saudi.
Overall, we would respect another's property and house rules and provide the necessary love and care to their pets as we hope our home and cats will receive while we are travelling.
