Hello,

We are Kristy and Leon, newly married. I'm Australian, originally from Adelaide but moved to Melbourne for uni and stayed for work. Leon is German and we met in Berlin as we were neighbours :).

We live half the time in Berlin and half in Melbourne as my job is here. I'm a paramedic and I work casually so I just accept whichever shifts are appropriate for my living situation. Leon is a software engineer and works from home so anyone with anxious pets needn't worry that they'll be alone for too long.

We don't have anywhere to stay in Melbourne as we've not been lucky enough to enter the buying market yet. In order to not pay rent in 2 cities at a time while only living in 1 we rely on the kindness of people on this platform to invite us to stay in their home.

We are both experienced with dogs having grown up with them, and I also grew up with cats (though I'd say I'm a dog person, I do like cats).

I dearly miss my little dog who died a few years ago at 18 years old and would love the opportunity to spend some time with dogs again.

We also have previous experience house sitting and we would, of course, take good care of your home should you choose us. Read more...
