Hello!

I hope this finds you well...and excited about your upcoming trip away!

I hope that I can make your planning a little bit easier and take some weight off your mind by providing a reliable and respectful house sitting experience :)

Since Covid happened...I seemed to have undertaken many housesitting duties for people either escaping, or trapped, by the numerous lockdown situations. I have cared for many pets and animals over the journey and also undertaken some basic house and yard maintenance duties if required.

I am currently studying part time which has afforded me the time and space to be available for these experiences. My past housesitting arrangements have all found me through 'word of mouth'.
I thoroughly enjoyed these experiences and it was to my surprise, to find this website, advertising similar positions.

My work and educational background is in Early Childhood Physical Activity and Development.
I have completed two 'Australian Volunteers for International Development' (AVID) projects; one in Indonesia (10 Mths), and the other in Suriname (Sth America - 16 Mths).
These assignments looked at using sport and physical activity as a tool to empower and improve the lives of children, youth, adults and people with a disability, in underprivileged and disadvantaged communities.
More recently, I was the camp cook for a road construction crew in the desert of Western Australia. These are all experiences that I cherish and look back upon fondly.
