Hi! I’m Dane, I’ve recently moved back to Australia after living in Canada for a couple years. I’ve been working in fine dining and 5 star hotels for 20 years but have pivoted my career to become a writer.

I grew up with German Shepherds, was a dog walker for a Rottweiler and have dog-sat/house-sat dogs as small as a Lhasa Apso, as energetic as a Staffie or as crazy as a Labradoodle. During the pandemic I worked as a landscaper as I’m a huge plant dad.

When it comes to cats I definitely know it’s about the vibe between the two of us as to whether it will work.

I’m insanely clean (can’t take the fine dining out of the guy), prefer reading over parties, I don’t smoke and rarely drink. It’s a new zen life as I approach 40.

I’d love to hear from you if you think we are a good fit. I’m very flexible with dates for the remainder of the year and can send references.
