Hello,

My name is Dahlia. I am a lawyer who is originally from Australia, but I've been living in New York City for almost 20 years. I am also a homeowner and have entrusted my Manhattan apartment to house sitters while I'm here.

I will be in Australia for the next six months and am looking to housesit because I appreciate a clean and comfortable home environment that I believe is less likely in a rental property where attention to detail and upkeep are not priorities. I am by nature house proud, neat and hygienic. I also have a personal assistant who is able to jump in and take care of things with me. I am a human rights attorney, having graduated with a Masters from Harvard University, working to improve the lives of girls and women in Muslim-majority countries, particularly in Egypt. I love to read, go to the theatre, and have travelled extensively.

I have house sat in Cairo, Egypt, every July and August from 2008 to 2014, in Ginza, Japan in August 2015, and in Boston from July to September 2016. I also recently housesat in Newtown and in Lilyfield in October.
