More information about this house sitter

We retired a few years ago and now spend time in Perth and Melbourne, as we have family members in both places.
We have an apartment in Melbourne and like the idea of house/pet sitting a few times a year for periods of two to four weeks.
We have had pets in the past, most recently a cat for 18 years.
We are both animal lovers. Dogs and cats generally like us too :)
We don't smoke and are particular about house cleanliness.
We enjoy light gardening and are pretty handy with minor home maintenance, including pool care too.
