Hi home owners I am new to home minders, I have always watch from afar and love the concept of it as well as swap your homes. Even though I am writing this as myself I am part of a family unit. My husband Mark & myself own a small property on the Beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula in SA. Our 2 boys are grown and doing their own thing now and our daughter is 15yrs old and still hangs out with us. We run a small business from our farm called Fernbank Miniature Horse & Ponies you can look us up on FB fernbank miniature ponies & horses we do have a website as well, Which will give you a bit of insight to our life. I also have owned and managed my own businesses my whole adult life first in hospitality in a family Hotel and a Cafe for 30yrs then over the last 11yrs in the printing business.
It is now time for a new chapter in our lives and part of that is to do some traveling, my husband still works full time so at times it will be both of us and other times it will be myself and my daughter looking at minding your home. Over the years we have had a number of exchange students from oversea's and also a number of wonderful Helpx travelers stay with us and help around the farm which we have really enjoyed. Now is is our time to give back and help others while traveling and enjoying the sites of your home town.
We are very experienced with animals large and small we are a non smoking family and will look after your home and pets as if they were our own as well as respecting your property and privacy. We are really looking forward in this chapter of our life. Read more...
