G'day! We recently relocated back to Brisbane, close to our friends and family after selling our quaint log cabin restaurant which was located in beautiful Colorado. Our family in the Rockies included our beloved rescue pets; Huey, a mild mannered canine who loved to chase squirrels, Theodore an intelligent, cuddly Manx and multiple fish tanks throughout our home. They now reside with Brian's family in the States.
During our time in Colorado we house sat for several families, taking care of their dogs, cats, indoor & outdoor house plants, and ensuring their home was safely maintained during the seasonality of the Rocky Mountains. We met when Sarah worked as a live-in nanny for several years whereby she gained the experience of being adaptable to different homeowner's preferences and needs when it came to upkeep, security and managing their homes. Brian has also owned his own handyman and landscaping company and worked as a ranch hand.
We have been married for 13 years, and are taking a reprieve from the demands of 10 years as fine-dining restaurant owners while we explore our next business venture and become re-acquainted with Brisbane.
We are non-smokers and relish this gorgeous Qld weather with daily walks or runs and spending time with our Aussie family after so many years abroad. Brian plays golf, enjoys reading and time spent in the kitchen. Sarah loves baking, reconnecting with friends and working out at the gym. We have been fortunate enough to embrace international travel into our lives and know the joy it brings and the desire to know your home and family is in safe, attentive and caring hands.
Being property owners ourselves and having experienced house sitters in our home, we know the responsibility and level of awareness required for upkeep, cleanliness and addressing repairs/maintenance. Having pets as valued members of our family, we understand the need for love, affection and attention, especially during the delicate time when their parent/s are away.
