More information about this house sitter

I am a contract musterer that works mostly in north qld. The season i work is 6-8 months of the year and during the other months or in between mustering jobs I do things like breaking in my young horses to take to work the next year and work on my other small start up businesses, photography, my fashion label Hessian By Jayne & another webpage to help emerging Australian designers grow together and form a community (Weave) and I have just started studying to be a personal trainer also.

I leave my horses and motor bikes at my families properties, one is at Alpha & one at Barcaldine in central Queensland. I live there most of the time when it's the off season and there is no mustering going on. It's great to be able to go home and do that and spend time with my family but as you can imagine as I get older (25 in August) I really enjoy my own time aswell. I love to move around and change it up and it's a great opportunity for me to do so while i am in this stage of life before I buy my own place. Because I am mustering all of the time and live out on the properties that i work at it just doesn't make sense for me to buy or rent a house to live in for such a short period of time each year and then leave it while I'm away for most of the year. Especially not while I am young and still wanting to travel and move around and don't really have a permanent address due to work.

There also isn't a lot of opportunity for photography and the Internet out of town on my family properties isn't good so it's just nice to go into town and have phone service to submit assignments and work on my webpages. I usually get everything ready to send then have to drive a minimum of 1 hour into town just to send my emails and submit things online. Trying to work on a webpage while sitting on a park bench in the street gets a bit old.

House sitting is great for my life style because It gives me a place to just go and focus on all of these things in a quiet chilled out environment. It's great being at home with my family but it's also so great to just have some alone time and focus on my other hobbies and work.

I will treat your home with care and I am happy to look after any animals. Fine with rural property care taking also and looking after waters and cattle etc. I have a little sausage dog of my own that comes around with me for company! ONLY if the house owner allows of course (if not, no problem he can stay at home with my Mum if there are no dog rules) and lives in the house yard (not inside)

So that's me in a nutshell! I would love to hear about your place and times you are going away and see if it works in, or if you wanted to ask me anything etc.
Thanks so much
Tess
