We both grew up in Switzerland and migrated to Australia in 2000.
My friends call me Alex. I'm a bookkeeper and my husband Armin is a car mechanic/electrician by trade as well as a handyman with a green thumb 😄
We both are very reliable, honest, caring, very clean and tidy, well presented and non-smoker.
We look after other peoples houses, pets and gardens as our own.
We started our new life in Cairns QLD where we had a house with a pool and big garden for 7 years. In 2008 we fulfilled our dream and bought a caravan to travel around Australia. When we got to Broome we got offered jobs and one season turned out to many more. I've been working for an upmarket jewellery shop as finance manager and Armin as a mechanic and workshop manager. We've done 13 seasons so far travelling around Australia and overseas during the wet seasons.
We often looked after our friends houses and pets while they were away on holidays (including my manager's place). They all will happily give you references.
In 2019 we joined 2 house sitting companies and did our first official house sit in Lake Placid (Cairns) and some more during our trip along the East coast. We looked after houses, gardens, pools and pets (dogs, cats, fish and birds). We once even looked after a little farm with cows.
We enjoyed all of those experiences and are proud to say that all house/pet owners gave us beautiful reviews (see attached screen shots for house sittings with another company).
We didn't travel from March 2020 till September 2022 but are now on the road again and have done a few house sits since 😊
