Hello everyone 🙋‍♀️
I am a young at heart, gentle natured, animal & nature loving woman happily looking after homes &/or cats and small pets for owners all around Qld.
I am a perfectionist and have a healthy touch of cleanliness ocd :) and a non-smoking home sitter so you can rest assured that your house will be in 'clean & fresh' hands while you're away! :-)
I love taking care of homes for people and knowing that owners are able to go away with peace of mind and confidence is a wonderful feeling :) I take pride in making sure owners have their best holiday experience without any concerns about home or loved pets. Whether you are heading off to see family, visiting long dreamed of holiday destinations or just a quick camping trip down the road, I'm happy to help!
I adore caring for cats and small family pets and feel very happy pampering them all :) also have a small habit of falling in love with them very quickly, so will always love and cafe for your fur or feather babies as my own!
I spent many years in Australia and the UK as a live-in carer of elderly and disabled people, where a large part of my role included housekeeping so I am more than comfortable looking after your house/home and maintaining it's smooth running in your absence... I will happily water any plants and gardens you have and make sure your flowers continue to bloom while you're away as well :-) Also keep a check on pool, take bins in/out, collect or re-direct mail, liaise with tradespeople, administer medication to pets, organise vet visits where required, some grooming and anything else we may agree upon.
I am grateful to home and pet owners for providing a safe and clean environment for sitters, so we are able to look after and care for your home and animals in the best way possible, thank you 🙏😌
ps it is a legal requirement to disclose security to your sitter before a sit begins, as a single female I am uncomfortable with internal cameras, thank you for your understanding.

Katie was referred to us through a friend who sang her praises. We could have not been more pleased that they did.. very happy to welcome her into our home and look after our 3 furry babies. Between their daily walks they were given and sending pictures of what they were doing, I don’t think they missed us. She even won over our 16 year old cat that isn’t very social with strangers!
It was so good to come home to a clean and spotless place, she even kept all my plants alive. It was nice to have a holiday and not worry about our pets and house. We will definitely be using Katie when ever we go away and recommending her to our friends. 👌💕

We were so lucky to have found Katie to care for our beautiful animal family ( 2 young and busy little dogs, and our Very old cockatiel & guinea pig) while we enjoyed our holiday!
Although we were very nervous about leaving our animals and home in the care of someone else, Katie's calm and reassuring nature not only put our minds at ease, but also made the transition of care for our animals seamless. Katie was able to calm and gain our dogs trust immediately.
Katie also called in to meet us and get to know our dogs and animals prior to us leaving, which we were so grateful for. Katie also sent us regular updates and fantastic photos while we were away.. which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away.
Katie, collected our mail, watered our plants and took wonderful care of our home.

"From the moment I first spoke to Katie I knew that I could have complete confidence in leaving my home and precious little girl Stella, in her safe hands.
During the 2 weeks I was away Katie updated me daily with photos of a very happy and contented Stella. This was very reassuring and allowed me to enjoy my holiday knowing she was being so well looked after and loved. In fact I’m sure, given a choice Stella might pick Katie over me!
On returning I found my home to be immaculate and all my plants were thriving thanks to Katie’s care and attention.

Katie what a gem! I could not recommend her more highly. She has just completed a two week sit minding our two cats. Within a day Katie was sending photo’s of Tui curdled up beside her & on her lap (which we only experience on the odd occasion).
We met Katie prior to the sit and felt completely at ease leaving our two in her care.
She has the most amazing connection with animals, which was evident with our two monkey’s.
We were updated regularly with photo’s and could see they were totally relaxed and spoiled rotten.
Our home was immaculate on our return.

"Katie housesat with our Cavoodle Bodhi. We were anxious about leaving him as we were away for nearly 6 weeks and like many rescue dogs, he has issues.
From the first time I met Katie however, I knew he was in good hands. I left a stack of instructions about Bodhi and the house and I knew that Katie would follow them, unlike other house sitters I’ve had.
Katie kept us up to date with photos while we were away and in every one Bodhi looked happy and relaxed. When we returned, he looked the picture of health and our house and garden were immaculate – better than when we had left! During our absence there were issues with the hot water and gas supply and Katie handled both situations with absolute competence.
That Bodhi and Katie had grown very fond of each other was evident when Katie came recently for a short visit. Bodhi was ecstatic to see her, and Katie had tears in her eyes! I have had numerous remarks from neighbours who met or saw Katie with Bodhi during her stay, about how pleasant, cheerful and competent she seemed and how happy Bodhi looked. When Katie pet-sits, it’s clear that she makes the animal/s her number one priority.
We intend to ask Katie to sit for us again next year – my husband has already asked her to pencil in some dates. We were lucky to find Katie – she enables us to go away with peace of mind knowing that “our boy” and our house will be in the very best of hands."

"I met Katie when she was dog/house sitting for friends,
I think she had been there about 3 days and their dog was already enamoured with her! sitting on her lap at every moment and seeming very relaxed :)
So we had her house/cat sit for us and she maintained regular contact with messages and photos, and when we returned it was obvious our cat Bindi had been well cared for and was very contented, even her coat was sleek and she wasn’t dropping as much fur as usual!!
While she showed she had missed us, her behaviour was not as pronounced as it has been some other times we have been away so she was obviously happy with Katie! :) Katie followed all the instructions given and the house and garden were neat and clean, pots well watered and everything in order. She was a perfect house sitter and someone I would recommend highly!

"I felt at ease as soon as I met Katie and knew our house was in the right hands. She had an instant rapport with our old pooch who I believe misses her regular walks and cuddles with him. She was upfront with us when she thought one of our chickens went missing which fortunately was a false alarm. Everything was neat and tidy when we got back from our week away. "Katie house and pet sat for us for a period of 4 weeks.
This is a tricky reference to write as it may sound disingenuous, but everything was perfect! The house was extremely clean and tidy, plants were all watered, the pets were very happy, fed and healthy (dog and cat). Katie sent regular photo updates of the pets on WhatsApp which made us feel completely confident and relaxed, Most of these photos were on numerous outings / walks with Hugo (the dog) who fell deeply in love with Katie....when Katie left, Hugo followed her down the road (which he never does!).
We could not recommend anyone more highly to look after your pets and house than Katie. We very much hope Katie will agree to house staying every time we go away.

“Katie looked after our home on 3 acres for 3 weeks while we were overseas in May/June 2018.
As soon as we met, Katies beautiful caring energy was apparent. She is trustworthy and very understanding of our last minute packing and disorganisation.
Our house was beautifully clean and sparkling when we came home, and the garden and plants thrived under her care and attention. Katie kept in communication while we travelled and we arrived home to a beautiful welcome.

"Katie is possibly one of the most genuine and caring people I've met in a very long time. When I spoke with Katie initially to find out more about her, we chatted on the phone for nearly an hour. I had absolutely no hesitations in asking her to look after our house and cat while we were away. Katie was reliable and communicative with us before and during her stay. When we got home we found the house to be spotlessly clean, the cat happy and the plants watered. What more could we ask for! Without a shadow of a doubt, I would recommend Katie in a heartbeat. "We had Katie stay for a month during January 2017 while we were in Vietnam and again recently, Jan 2018 for 3 weeks. Both of these times she cared beautifully for our dog Millie, fed and watered our 5 chooks, watered the garden and took great care of our house :) While we were away we were able to touch base with Katie to see how things were going and she always kept us up to date, she walked Millie often and even took her for swims - we sense Millie misses her now!

Katie looked after my senior pug, Penny, and my home for all of July. She ensured that Penny was well cared for the entire time. She took her for walks to her favourite cafe where she was able to socialise with familiar people and dogs.
