More information about this house sitter

Hello! I am a solo, mature, animal and garden lover, taking time off my working commitments to explore this beautiful country of ours that we are so fortunate to call home.

Looking after other people's homes and animal families is the perfect balance for me.
I get to explore new areas whilst very gratefully enjoying the comforts of home.

I will take absolute care of your home, garden, pool, animals and everything else as they were my own.

As I have only been with ‘Mindahome’ for a short while, I do have a few reviews for you to have a look at.

However I have also had many amazing house sits through another website, looking after beautiful homes, gardens, pools and animals throughout Victoria, N.S.W and Queensland over the last few years....for which I have received the most wonderful, kind reviews.
I have added them to the end of my profile, please scroll down to have a read.

( If you would like me to direct email/text you a link to verify my reviews please let me know. It's not possible to do via this site...I tried! )

People always ask...are you a cat or a dog person?
Well, I can honestly say I am an all round animal person and love them all....big and small.

Travelling solo, nights will be spent curled up on the couch with a good book or movie and if fortunate enough....the company of your precious pets, which I very much look forward to.

I have always owned my own homes...from city houses to country acres.....with my husband, two amazing now adult children... and our extended animal family. Over the years they have included our beloved dogs, Sami the Samoyed and Bella the bitsa rescue….our cheeky pony Sharlo....our chooks. Meg, Mavis and Molly....our rabbit Cleo....budgie Banjo ..... and with us now is our gorgeous, rather shy and very loving Ragdoll puss Eli.

I love my garden and nothing better than early morning or evening watering with a cuppa in hand and Eli at my feet.
I have half an acre of beautiful garden around my home, and a veggie / herb patch that I enjoy tending to.

I have added a few pics of my myself and my home for you to see where I live....and of course one of our puss Eli!

My children are all grown up now and my husband works long hours as a Paramedic.....so I am travelling on my own, without any children, pets or caravans in tow!

I write songs and short stories..... working on a children's picture story book at the moment...( a work in progress! )

I also enjoy reading, drawing, painting, walking, swimming, singing, listening to music and spending lots of time in nature.

I recently bought my very first 'real' camera and have been putting it to good use!

I would very happily send you pictures and updates about how things are going at home...especially for your pets...while you are away.

I am flexible in my sitting dates and destinations.
I love being on the open road travelling to new and far away places.

I have proof of identification, including photo ID, registration as a Teacher and my Celebrant registration.
A police check and working with children check is part of this registration.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my profile.

I look forward to hearing from you and most happy to answer any questions that you might have.

Best Wishes
Tracey :)

Tracey has been the most wonderful house sitter and friend to our dog Freeda for the two weeks we've been away. Arriving home to a house full of love and care and a very relaxed dog was the icing on the cake of our holiday. Thank you Tracey for looking after Freeda so lovingly, as well as the house and garden with such thoughtfulness and care. We would highly recommend you to anyone and you will certainly be the top of our list to housesit again in the future. We are deeply grateful and happy to have met such a beautiful and generous person. Thank you so much.

Tracey was an absolutely wonderful pet and house sitter. We received regular updates on our little Lexi and she left the house looking immaculate. Lexi was very relaxed in her own home and Tracey was able to keep up with her walk and meal routine. We would recommend Tracey to anyone in the future and hope to welcome her back to pet sit again.

Tracey looked after our house, pool, garden and elderly cat while we were away for five weeks. She was very easy to communicate with and sent us regular texts to let us know how everything was going. When we returned our home was spotless and our cat had never looked happier and healthier. It was a privilege to have Tracey look after things while we were away and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. She is friendly, honest and trustworthy and we have found this experience to be a very positive one.

I really don't know how to express my gratitude to Tracey for the amazing care of my English Springer and my small house. I had daily updates and photo's to quell any anxiety I may have had leaving my best mate. I hope she enjoyed sitting for me as much as me having her at home looking after everything. Highly recommended to anyone wanting one of the best. Thanks heaps Tracey.

We didn't have the chance to meet Tracey in person due to travel times but had phone and text conversations. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog (who requires regular medicating) and my house which is my sanctuary in Tracey's care. She kept in contact while we were away and our house was left in perfect condition....actually it didn't even look like Tracey had been here at all!!! Thanks Tracey sooooo much. We would highly recommend her for any house sit. Judy

Tracey looked after our large Queenslander, a very large tropical garden with many challenging plants and a swimming pool. On our return the house was immaculate; not one plant had died (we usually lose a few when our house is looked after by someone); and the pool was sparkling!! Tracey was a delight to communicate with both before and after her visit. Importantly, during the house sit period she provided unprompted updates on the house on a regular basis. An excellent house sitter who we would not hesitate to recommend.

Wow!!! The most amazing house sit we have had so far! Tracey was just fantastic with the 3 cats and the house. The cats were almost unhappy to see us return. The house was spotless - seriously it was difficult to see that anyone had been in the house. Tracey went over and beyond with the garden. We are very grateful!!! Highly, highly recommend Tracey!!

We had Tracey come and stay at our house in Avalon, while we went overseas for 4 weeks, we met Tracey prior and felt very comfortable with her warmth and character, Tracey looked after our two dogs Cosmo and Charlie, we had no issues with Tracey, and she kept us up to date while we had been away, she even checked the PO box for us. We highly recommend Tracy as a good, honest and reliable person. Many thanks Tracey.

Tracey looked after our House in Berry along with Henry the Lagotto dog. Henry was well looked after and was rather disappointed when we returned home. I think Henry has made a friend. The place was left clean and was obviously well looked after while we were gone. Communication prior to leaving and while we were away was excellent. We would recommend Tracey as a sitter

Tracey looked after our home and two dogs for 9 days over Easter after the housesitter we had originally had booked let us down. It is always a risk to invite a stranger to care for your home and pets and normally we would prefer to have met in person before agreeing to the arrangement however due to the short notice this wasn't possible so we conducted our "interview" via text and email. Tracey certainly did her best to put our minds at ease during this process, she was happy to send through ID documents including a police check and promised to treat our home as if it was her own in terms of safety, care and cleanliness which meant we were able to leave on our holiday feeling our home and our pets were in very good hands. I can honestly say we were absolutely delighted to return home to happy pets and a house that was immaculate and had obviously been well cared for. There were absolutely no issues. A bottle of wine and a box of chocolates was a delightful (but totally unnecessary) welcome home gift and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Tracey and would definitely book her again. We would be happy to speak to anyone who would like a verbal reference. Thank you again Tracey, you did such a wonderful job. Best wishes for all your upcoming adventures. Kate & Wayne

I was very happy with Tracey looking after the house and my cat and she left the place in immaculate condition. Would not hesitate a second to engage her again. Thank you again Tracey
