More information about this house sitter

I am a quiet fellow, non smoking or drinking, and no drugs. Generally clean and tidy, conservative in my use of resources, respectful of my surrounds and I like to leave any place as I find it, or better.

I am new to house sitting but not new at all to looking after houses, pets and gardens. I currently share an old Queenslander house where I do some basic maintenance and look after the garden and the resident ginger cat, feed the possum and relocate the odd snake. I have also had dogs in my life from an early age and occasionally look after the neighbours when he is away. In fact I haven't met an animal I don't get on with.

My 'work' as a macro photographer (since 2007) brings me into close proximity with all kinds of creatures but mostly our marvellous sub-tropical bugs and some wild flowers. You are welcome to view my website if interested, at - beingmark (dot) com

So I am most at home where nature abounds, and often I can be found out in the garden or local nature looking for the more elusive creatures. I have also taught meditation on and off for the last 20 years, and will teach anyone who has the need. I don't do any of it for the money, it's just not my nature.

Anyway, that's all for now. I'll come back to this profile again when I am clearer what should go into it.

My initial plan is to take up some suitable sitting jobs while I look for a van/camper so I can make more use of this service in future and see what comes along.
