Hi!

My name is Maddi, I am a 21 year old woman living in Adelaide, South Australia.

I am currently studying Sociology at the University of Adelaide, and Child, Youth and Family Intervention at TAFE SA. Alongside this, I volunteer and work casually.

Coming into the middle of what has been a crazy and busy year, I am looking for an opportunity to travel with purpose. After sitting in front of a computer screen for months at a time, I cannot imagine anything better than being in a new environment, surrounded by nature and animals, and most importantly helping another person leave their house comfortably and confidently!

I am a reliable and resilient woman, and take pride in my ability to work hard and communicate well when trust is placed in me. My last experience house sitting through Mindahome was extremely positive, and the memories that I created in that house will stick with me forever.

Alongside my experience with Mindahome, I volunteered for some time in the Amazon Rainforest in an animal rescue centre. Here, I supported staff in tending to animals such as monkeys, a tapir, birds, and bears. I believe this proves that I am capable and willing to take on challenges out of my comfort zone!
