Hello Home Owner/s
When you’re planning your next holiday away
will be needing someone to
mind your home, pets and garden while you’re away ?.
So you can have peace of mind and the confidence knowing that all is well at home and that your fur babies are well cared for and loved while you’re away.
If that is so, then, we’d like you to consider a reliable mature aged, non smoking, honest and caring, couple that would take care of your home, pets and garden with the utmost care and respect as though your home and pets were our own and we’d follow instructions to the letter.
I ( Maggie ) have been house sitting on Brisbane’s Northern suburbs and Redcliffe Peninsular continuously since 2014 until 2020.
During this time Ive had the privilege to have cared for several homes for regular home owners from year to year with a variety of pets, cats, dogs ,fish , birds, chooks and since relocating to Victoria even heifers which I was ok with, being a dairy farmers daughter and also those much loved more senior pets that have required that little bit of extra special care that’s required to keep them comfortable and happy, all of whom I’ve come to love very much .
Since 2020 I’ve had house sits in Tasmania, Melbourne and country Victoria and for the last 2 years we have enjoyed Winter house sits on the Sunshine Coast in Qld.
I enjoy pottering in the gardens and looking after pot plants and I pride myself in being clean, tidy and taking care of everything in and around the house including pools.
My partner Robert has only joined me in the house sitting adventures in the last 2 years since retiring, he too, is very clean and tidy
( much more than I ) and he is quite adapt to using ride on mowers as we live on a large property which he manages for the owner who lives in USA with lots of mowing and fence repairing to be done as well as keeping an eye on the cattle that are on the property .
We’re both retired which leads us to having that extra time caring for your home and pets, it also adds to the increased security for your home while you are away.
We are both physically active, healthy, enjoy daily walks and just enjoy quiet living ( no noisy party’s )
Robert goes to the gym 3 times a week and generally manages things on the farm, he’s a “Mr Fix It” kind of guy , while I enjoy morning walks , jig-saw puzzles, crosswords, cooking and photography of sunrises and sunsets and all things of nature as well as volunteering to help with a local charity that helps with food staples for the homeless in our community
We live on the Mornington Peninsular and we have our own vehicle and both hold a current Victorian drivers license .
We would be driving to Qld as we like to have the convenience of our own car to enjoy the road trip and explore new country towns along the way.

We’re looking for a house sit from early August for approximately 4 weeks and looking for sits on the Gold Coast , Redcliffe
Peninsular/ Brighton - Sandgate, Shorncliffe areas only , to be nearer to the grandchildren.
