Are you planning your next holiday away ?
….and will you be looking for caring, house sitters to mind your home, pets and garden while you’re away ?
So that you can have peace of mind and confidence knowing that your pets, home and garden are well loved, looked after and cared for while you’re away.
Then, we’re hoping you are looking for a reliable mature aged, honest , non smoking and caring, house sitting couple that would take care of your home, pets and garden with the utmost respect as though it and they were our own and we’d follow instructions to the letter.
I ( Maggie ) have been house sitting on Brisbanes Northern suburbs and Redcliffe peninsular continuously since 2014 until 2020.
During this time Ive had the privilege to have cared for several homes for regular home owners from year to year with a variety of pets, cats, dogs ,fish , birds, and heifers large, small, young, old and also those much loved pets that have required that little bit more extra special care that’s required to keep them comfortable and happy, all of whom I’ve come to love and adore .
Since 2020 and Covid times I’ve had house sits in Tasmania, Melbourne and country Victoria .
I enjoy pottering in gardens and looking after pot plants and I pride myself in being clean, tidy and I just enjoy quiet living and taking care of everything in and around the house including pools.
My partner Robert has only joined me in the house sitting adventures in the last year and he too, is very clean and tidy ( much more than I ) and he is quite adapt to using ride on mowers as we live on a large property which he manages for the owner who lives in USA with lots of mowing and fence repairing to be done .
We’re both retired which leads us to having that extra time caring for your home and pets, it also adds to the increased security for your home while you are away.
We are both physically active, healthy and enjoy daily walks, Robert goes to the gym 3 times a week and generally manages things on the farm, he’s a “Mr Fix It” kind of guy , while I enjoy morning walks , jig-saw puzzles, crosswords, cooking and photography of sunrises and sunsets and all things of nature as well as volunteering to help with a local charity that helps with food staples for the homeless in our community
Currently our base is on the Mornington Peninsular and we have our own vehicle and both hold a current Victorian drivers license .
We would be driving to Qld as we like to have the convenience of our own car and enjoy the road trip .
We’re looking for longer term house sits for the months of

JULY and AUGUST and up to 7th of September 2025, ONLY

( a minimum of 1 month sit is preferred although we will do shorter sits if necessary . ) On the Sunshine Coast./ Hinterland, Hervey Bay areas would be ideal so we could be nearer to visit family and friends .
I can supply references from previous home owners that I have sat for and arrange to have a face time interview over the phone.
