We are Mandy and Grant, a fit, active, semi-retired, professional couple, with family on both sides of the Tasman. Our house sitting experience in Australia has included dog sitting in Byron Bay; a month looking after chicks, ducks and a cat in The Pocket; nearly two months, dog, cat and goat minding, and milking goats in Uki; a month with four fluffy felines north of Townsville; and three weeks minding a beagle-spaniel cross in Perth. We love meeting local wildlife as well as connecting with furry, feathered and scaly pets. Our movements throughout late 2024 and all 2025 will be around Byron Bay, the hinterland and Gold Coast, and we are happy to travel as far down as Sydney.

Here’s a range of skills relevant to house sitting, animal care and general maintenance that we offer:
• non-skilled light maintenance tasks;
• plant watering and yard sweeping;
• cleaning;
• decluttering;
• animal minding including feeding, brushing, administering medicines, petting, goat milking, interacting with and exercising animals.

We have owned houses since we were in our early 20s, six of them to date, so we do understand maintenance, renovation and landscaping, and have designed and managed large gardens. We have owned fish, birds and cats ourselves and grown up with dogs, cats and birds so feel perfectly confident in looking after your furred or feathered babies.
