Hi..My name is mara obrien. Although I have only recently joined Mindahome (January 2016), I have "house-sat" before, many properties, through word of mouth referrals. I can provide references.

I am 64 years old, keen to travel and I am looking forward to seeing the world, whilst living like a local and in return caring and for, and loving and appreciating your property and pets as though they are my own.

I am studying ( online ) through AOU, Professional Writing and Editing, as well, working part time for a marketing company ( 10-15 hours/week)

An "empty nester" and widow, I am fit, healthy, tidy, a non smoker and reliable.

I have a great rapport with all animals ( love them all), being, in the past, both owner and sitter/carer of many animals; dogs, cats, chickens, fish..

Love gardening.. Great with regard to caring for all property having partnered my late husband in many a house renovation.

I look forward to connecting with you and am available for both long or short stays.
