Hi!

My partner Marc and I love animals and would love to have a furry friend in our lives, but we own and live in a tiny flat and think that would be too cruel. We recently realised that house sitting could be a fantastic opportunity to have a temporary pet, and a win-win for a pet (or several) needing some company while their human is away.

I'm an artist and work part-time as a Creative Arts Officer at a Melbourne university (see www[dot]ashabeeabraham[dot]com), and Marc is an illustrator who has had several picture books published in Australia and abroad (see www[dot]marcmartin[dot]com).

We have both house-sat plenty of times before for friends of friends and through this site. The exchange has always been very much appreciated by both sides.

We're both non-smokers and animal lovers (you'll see evidence of this in Marc's illustrations on his site), and I'm a keen gardener (especially of the edible variety). Our party days are over and we're much more interested in spending our evenings reading, ideally with a cat or dog snuggling nearby. We're both very reliable, responsible and can assure you that your pets, home and garden will be kept safe and sound.
