We are a husband and wife, both retired. We have been housesitting overseas and in Oz since 2010.
We are based in Crescent Head NSW where we live on land with stand alone solar and water tanks, so we are used to rural properties with pumps etc.
We have owned our own animals and have looked after everything ranging from snakes to cattle and everything in between. We love properties that are a bit out of the ordinary and really enjoy large rural properties. Have lots of experience.
We have looked after sick pets and given medication, but we do charge $10 a day for animals with complicated issues.
Love hiking, skiing and anything outdoors. But also very neat and tidy and love pottering in the garden.
We are members of three other sites and have just joined this one. Looking for a short sit inCanberra late June 2024.
Planning a trip to Tassie after Aug 2024, so will be looking for unique sits for the latter part of the year.

We really enjoyed giving the care of our family over to Keith and Mog. The minute they knocked on the door Maya went for the soft toy greeting. Always a good sign. Before we left the next day cuddles had been in order along with brisk (BRRR) walk, breakfast treats,warm fire and more cuddles. During our absence there were plenty of car rides for shopping, in town walks,cafe treats for all and even swimming in the Ovens River and a quick social afternoon at the Wandi Pub. They also sent great photos to us whilst on our journey. The cats did their own thing but spent many hours snuggled in front of the warm winter fire instead of outside in their locked cage. All animals got plenty of love, combs and games. Keith and Mog explored the area and fell in love with Bright and the snow fields.Our home was clean,bedding washed and everything ship shape. We loved them here,very relaxed very genuine sitters who had the animals number 1 on the list. Maya took them on new walks everyday,they trusted her local knowledge,Just point me in the direction,follow me and we will get home."
