More information about this house sitter

My name is Maria King and I am a 28 year old, recently graduated veterinarian.
I have lived and studied in The Netherlands almost all my life although I am originally from England.
So I speak fluent Dutch and English.
Currently I am backpacking in Australia (for the first time) and I have heard many stories of how people have house sitted for others. I have looked after my parents and friends house and their animals multiple times. It would be a great experience for me to do this far from home as I have always considered it a lovely way of travelling and fitting in to the culture of the place I stay in.
During the last months I spent in The Netherlands, I have often cooked, cleaned the house, gone shopping for and looked after my mothers pets. I also have much younger siblings (Katherine age 13 and Luke age 11), whom I have taken care of a lot in the last 6 months.
I am reliable, easy going and a relatively quiet person who loves new experiences and the opportunities to travel.
