I'm Maria, I am 47 years old; a mother of 2 adult children & a smitten grandmother of 1.

House Sitting fell into my lap, so to speak,at the right time in my life, I am a believer in "Things happen for a reason"

I was first offered to house sit for a friend of a family member whilst the couple went overseas for 6 weeks.
They own a beautiful home in Wheelers Hill in Melbourne with their 2 gorgeous Burmese fur-baby Kittens; Buddy & Bootsie.
Not long after I was offered to house sit a lovely apartment in Chirnside Park for a gentleman that regularly travels interstate for work. His furbaby; Daisy, also a Burmese and is 6 years old . I now house sit here regularly and look after Daisy.


As for me, personally; After a long term relationship breakdown, followed by my Soul-searching Solo Road Trip up the South East Coast to Hervey Bay I once again found my Independence and Freedom after years of being a devoted mother.
I have decided to take a break from the corporate world and explore to do something different.

So here I am!

As I enjoyed house sitting, I have decided to do this while travelling and seeing Australia.
I love most pets, the pets I will not look after however are snakes & spiders, I am sure most of you will understand that one!


My past-times are; Love and Admiration for Horses.
Nature; Ocean, Beach, Forest
Artistry: Soft pastel drawing, Acrylic painting.
Creation of all types of craft.
My most favorite of all; Playing and Spending time with my 2 year old grandson!!!


I am available to look after your home from Melbourne all the way up to the tip of Australia; Cape York.

You can rest assured and leave feeling confident that I WILL treat your home like my own!

I am a very organised person, therefore I would prefer to meet you prior to your departure and to meet your beloved pets, get are run down of any routines your pet may have, dietary requirements, any do's & don'ts and Emergency and /or Veterinary contact numbers in case of any situation that may arise, of course I hope I will never have to use them , but I do prefer to be prepared for the "just in case" whilst on my stay within your home.
