BACKGROUND: My husband and I are both experienced pet sitters, having performed paid pet sitting in our own home for many years. Now that our own pets have passed, and our children have flown the nest, we can offer personalised care in your own home!
SECURITY: I have been a primary school teacher for 30 years (highest police clearance), currently working at Capalaba State College. My husband has a blue card can offer a national police certificate for your peace of mind. He has worked at the same firm for the last 20 years.
VALUES AND EXPECTATIONS: We both share a love of animals, and regard honesty, kindness and respect as our most important values. We will ensure that you can look forward to coming home from your holiday to a clean house, a maintained yard and happy pets.
As a thank you, we even offer a home cooked meal on your return, (ready in the fridge)!
OUR ROLE: We consider pet sitting and house minding our job while you are away. Our main priority is caring and looking after the health and welfare of your pets and keeping your home safe, clean and well maintained, while you are away. We offer regular communication updates with photos or live chat so that you can see what is happening in your home and how your pets are being cared for, while you are away
EXPERIENCE: We are both strong enough to walk larger dogs and have had a lifetime worth of experience in looking after the health and welfare of our own cats, dogs, birds, fish and guinea pigs over the years. I will be home and available for 24 hour care of your house and animals during the school holiday break, so you can rest assured that your pets will have loads of company and care and will be safe and loved, while you are away.
ABOUT US: My husband and I are a quiet, non-smoking, non-drinking, drug free couple who will love your pets and your home as our own and treat them with the upmost respect. Your pets will be treated as part of the family while you are away. We are happy to abide by house rules and restrictions, which you may wish to impose.
