Hi!

My name is Matti-Leena Venugopal, and I am from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. I am currently enrolled in a B.Sc. in Zoology at Laurentian University. I am traveling to Brisbane, Australia with a Working Visa at the beginning of May 2017 to visit my older sister who is studying Pharmacy at the University of Queensland. This will be my first time traveling to Australia and I could not be more excited. I will be staying until August 2017 to make the most of my visit, since I will be returning to school again in September. I look forward to the experience of housesitting in a country other than my own as it would provide a homey, local feel.

While I am out of school, I enjoy spending my time outside, going for walks in nature. With my previous experience working for a gardening and landscaping company, I enjoy working on my garden with my free time.

I am currently employed at a Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy in Sudbury, Ontario. My interests revolve around around plants and animals. My twin sister and I have two adorable cats, named Nalle and Madeira. I also spend time with Audrey the Bengal, and Jasper the Weimaraner, who live at my parents house. In the past I have owned a beautiful Cockatiel named Sampson, and a cute Love Bird named Petey.

I have had plenty of experience housesitting for family friends in Sudbury, Ontario. While housesitting I care of their pets, their plants, and keeping their place tidy while they are away. I also have plenty of experience working with animals. I have worked and cared for farm animals, including horses, goats and sheep. I have also worked with birds, helping raise them and train them. The birds included, Cockatiels, Budgies, Love Birds, and African Greys.

I am a non-smoker, and am very tidy and organized. I would be happy to provide references upon request. Read more...
