Hello there!
I'm Katie, originally from Perth, I've lived in NYC, Paris, London and Berlin, have travelled extensively and have just returned home to Aus after a long long time overseas.

While I was in Berlin I met my wonderful German husband, Tibor who I'm bringing back with me to our sunnier lands. I'm a trained actor and clown, with an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship and am currently employed as a writer and copywriter, and Tibor was a once a professional athlete and is now a teacher.

Whilst we're very different people, these traits and likes apply for both of us: we're silly, fun, kind, and reliable, and we both love the ocean, nature, theatre, sport, cooking, reading, travel and art.

We want to take our time deciding where we want to be in Sydney which is why we've joined the platform. We would be delighted to spend some time in one of your homes, look after your pets and plants with love, as we explore and get to know our new city.

We are both excellent and utterly loving with pets and with plants, and fall in love with every animal we have had the pleasure of looking after.

In adulthood we haven't had pets, as at least since being together, we knew we wanted to move to Australia at some point, and we didn't want to put our prospective furry family member through the turmoil of flying and months of Quarantine. That being said, we both had dogs growing up, and family dogs have continued to be a big part of our lives. We have pet and house-sat a number of times, and have loved getting to steal fun moments with furry friends when we couldn't have one of our own.

As for homes, we are both very clean, and take care of our things, just as we would with yours. The nice pans and knives are hand washed and dried straightaway- no dishwasher for those! :D The chopping boards are separated for different uses and dishes and cooking mess is cleaned right away. Rest assured, we will respect your home, as we do our own.

My parents used this platform recently when they came to Europe last year for our wedding. They found a lovely couple to look after their dog, Harry, and their home, and it really couldn't have worked out any better.
