Hi! We're Mary and Josh!

We've been living in Queensland for over 1.5 years now after moving from Perth. Josh is originally from Western Australia, whilst Mary hails from North Carolina. We got married in North Carolina in July 2017 and are back full-time house-sitting here in Australia.

We've got housesits in Queensland happily booked up until mid-January. Afterwards, we are open to travelling to other Australian locales.

Primarily we're looking for a way to get out of the city for extended periods of time, and meet some furry friends along the way. We don't yet have our own animals, so loving and caring for the pets of others is the next best thing!

Mary used to manage an organic food store, and now does freelance writing and research. She is super passionate about all things food. From growing to consuming, food philosophy and sustainability, if it is edible Mary wants to talk about it.

Joshua is a statistician, currently working as a research assistant and has just begun his masters degree in statistics. He won't bore you with the details if you're not interested but instead will tell you about the great food he has eaten recently, cycling or playing tennis.

We're great with dogs big (75kg+) and small, and since we both work primarily from home, we'll be around to give them lots of love. We also have experience caring for livestock such as goats, sheep, pigs, chooks, etc. as well as gardens and lawns. We love a farm lifestyle, but that's not to say we don't enjoy our jaunts into the city as well!
