Requiring a Melbourne house sit from 9-24 January 2023 (or part thereof) to assist son with movie production.

Requiring a Adelaide house sit from 5-16 April 2023 (or part thereof) to visit family.

We live in Brisbane, are retired and enjoy travelling regularly throughout Australia in our caravan. We are always keen to house sit when we get the urge to see areas of the country we haven't yet visited.

Additionally, we have family scattered in Adelaide, Melbourne and throughout NSW so can use a house sit opportunity to visit them.

We are very active, healthy, enjoy walking and bike riding. We are reliable, honest, clean, tidy, respectful of other people’s privacy and belongings, and are non-smokers.

In your absence, we will maintain your house and garden, mow lawns, clean the pool, forward mail and care for pets as required. We are willing to update you about the house/pet in your absence by email, photos, etc. , and will house sit even if there are no pets.

When our children were younger, the pets we cared for included chickens, birds, guinea pigs and a cat. Our reason for not owning pets currently is so we can travel.

We previously undertook housesitting in Melbourne in 2019 for one month (two cats) and more recently in June 2021 for one month (one dog). These were opportunistic house sits to visit family.

Maryanne holds a current Working with Children card issued by Qld Government, valid until 25 August 2024, which also involved obtaining a National Police check, for volunteering purposes with the Australian Red Cross. These can be provided upon request. Read more...
