Hello there!

Our names are Maria and Jasmin! We are from New Zealand and are looking to move over to Australia in June. Maria has just completed her degree in psychology and will be working until next year when she will begin her master’s in psychology. Jasmin is completing her final year of university and will be studying online for the remainder of 2022.

We have currently been house sitting in New Zealand for family friends and have had really positive experiences in the past as we are very respectful, clean, and have lots of experience with animals. We have been looking after a very energetic, three year old border collie called Jigsaw for five days a week for the past few years. We have absolutely loved taking him out to beaches and nature reserves for long walks as well as lots of cuddles while doing uni work online. We are very organised and have found that sticking to a good walking routine twice a day works really well for both us and him! We’re both really going to miss Jigsaw while we are in Australia so absolutely love to look after a pet! As as much as we love dogs, we are also both grew up with cats and are massive cat people!

We have lived together for 3 years and spend most of our free time exploring nature walks and getting out in the sun, especially at the beach! We are very responsible and can happily keep gardens/indoor plants maintained during our stay. We are both very health/fitness focused and are not drinkers or smokers. Additionally, we can provide references from previous owners that we have house sat for.
