Hi Home Owners

We are a semi-retired couple in our late 60s, who have been married for 45 years. Having sold our family home, and now being empty-nesters after raising our family of 6 sons, we are ready to enjoy some time for us. Australia has been home for both of us our whole lives, however the busyness of life so far has not afforded us the ability to see much of our amazing country. As we are both healthy and energetic, we see house sitting as an opportunity to experience what’s on offer.

We consider ourselves to be friendly, out-going, responsible, kind, compassionate and resourceful people. We are non-smokers and non-drinkers. Neither of us has had any trouble with ‘the law’.

Trevor has enjoyed a lengthy career in international aid and more recently in our family business, while Carol has reveled in her ‘career’ in a busy home full of people and entertaining and various projects. She has managed to run a clean, tidy and well-organized household amidst the responsibilities of child-rearing. Trevor has traveled and worked extensively throughout world disaster areas, thus developing within him an uncommon resilience and resourcefulness.

Having lived in large homes and on acreages of various sizes as well as in suburbia, Trev has become a very capable ‘Mr Fix-It’, able to turn his hand to most home repairs. He has also cared for various animals we have owned – dogs, horses, cows, poultry, etc. Our beloved family dogs have always been very much part of the family mix. Sadly we recently lost both our dogs due to old age (a Rottweiler named Diesel and a Silky Terrier named Whoopi).

If you were to entrust your home to our care, we can guarantee you would return to find it in as good as, if not better than, when you left it. We would also consider it a great privilege to take care of your dear pets – would love and respect them as our own, willingly feeding and exercising them regularly. Trevor especially has an instant rapport with animals.

We would love you to contact us with any questions re our availability or abilities. Police checks have been completed and are available.

Hopefully we can help you out, by allowing you to get away on your own adventures without feeling concerned re how things are going on the home front.
