More information about this house sitter

We met in 2010 in Australia (Darwin exactly), when we were both traveling around the country for a year.

We are both French, Ludovic grew up in Annecy (South east of France) and Julie is from the suburb of Paris.

We love to discover a country from inside, meeting friendly people in the world and discover foreigner customs...this is like a challenge for us. We are trying to explore cultures as much as we can and we like to wander around new places randomly and get lost ! We think it's the best way to discover a country...

Together, we backpacked in South America, going throughout 7 countries for 7 months. Back in France for 2 years (to rest and work !!) and a few travels into Europe later, we flew to New Caledonia where we decided to settle down for 2.5 years.

We then applied for a 2 years Canadian working holiday visa that we both finally obtained after a few months. We traveled for a couple of months and settled down in Vancouver to work in 2019.

Back to Europe in 2020, we decided to move to Switzerland.

In 2023 we got married in the most beautiful place in the world ... on Whitehaven Beach in Australia. Since then, we've never stopped thinking about coming back to this beautiful country to make it our home.

In October 2024, we took the plunge and left our jobs and everything behind to come and live our dream in Australia.

We both would love to have animals but it's impossible at the moment as we are traveling too much, that's why when we heard about this website we registered straight away !

Helping people going away having peace of mind and in exchange allowing us to travel with animals around is, we think, the best part of it.

We believe in Community, we think it's a great opportunity for both side.
