Hi there,

We are Dave and Amy and we would be so honoured to mind your home while you are away!

We are relocating from SA to QLD/Nth NSW and chose to take the scenic route via house sitting to get a sense of where we want to eventually land! We have house sat many times and have references available. We both have experience living on a large range of properties including farms with horses, cattle (basic), chickens, dogs and cats. We are both nature lovers and really enjoy exploring new places.

We want to acknowledge that we are new to house sitting via these websites. Our previous house sits have been via facebook groups and friends-of-friends connections. We are looking for our first experiences via this website to start building our profile here and we thank you in advance for your confidence and trust in us and your help to get this journey underway.

We are both self employed full time in the personal development industry and Dave also does financial trading. We work online, so we are readily available to be present to the needs of your pets, home and property. Dave also has a trade background as an electrician as well as general steelwork and carpentry so he is well equipped to navigate any arising challenges.

We’re fit and active and our health is a top value of ours. We don’t drink/smoke/party and we absolutely love and appreciate a great veggie garden!!

We have both lived on acreage properties/farms with large animals (horses/cattle/sheep) and very much appreciate all that country living has to offer. Dave is well versed in property maintenance (fencing, fixing, troubleshooting, general maintenance, electrical) and Amy is an experienced horse-person, having ridden and competed through her younger years into her mid 20s.

Where we aren’t available to meet with you face to face prior to a sit, we are always more than happy to meet with you via Zoom or Facetime so we can all feel comfortable and familiar.

We look forward to hopefully looking after your home and fur-family while you relax and enjoy your adventures!
