Hi, I'm Chasta!
I have always been a huge animal lover and have a lifetime of experience with pets. I grew up on a hobby farm in Canada, so I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life (34 years) and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up with dogs & cats, so I am confident with both and would care for your fur babies like they were my own.

My love for animals knows no bounds. In fact, I have 3 pets that I rescued myself from overseas. They are staying back home in Canada with my mom while I take a career break, and I miss them so much. I have a medium sized dog (Kaya- pictured) that I rescued on a trip to Guatemala 4 years ago. She is very energetic and loves to go for long walks. I also have two cats (India and Emelie- pictured cuddling ) that I rescued as kittens while living in Ecuador from 2016-2018. Leaving them is extremely difficult, but I’ve decided to take an extended break to experience living somewhere new and bringing them with me sadly isn’t possible. I plan on staying in Australia for up to one year.

I consider myself to be a quiet, clean, and reliable person. I previously owned my own house in Canada, and I will treat your home just as I would my own- with care and respect. My home had a large backyard and gardens, so I am also comfortable with lawn/garden care if that is required.

I am a non-smoker and strive to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I love going for long walks, and I enjoy cooking as well as traveling. I’ve traveled to 40+ countries across 6 continents mostly on my own, and Australia is one of my favourites!
I am currently located in Sydney, but would love to explore other areas of the country as well. I’ve had positive experiences housesitting (I am also on other platforms) and look forward to meeting new people and furry friends.

I'm happy to have a video call or meet in person if I am nearby so that you feel comfortable knowing that your house and pets will be in good hands.
