Don - retired automotive mechanic as of 30/6/17. Driver with Community Transport ( known as HART in Lismore) - see reference1 - and he loves to help others. Took care of a friend’s extensive 1.5 acres gardens and lawns for 5 months last year while they were overseas. Don has both a Police clearance and working with children clearance.
Sue - retired medical secretary. Enjoys keeping a lovely clean and tidy home and pottering in the garden.
We sold our lovely home in Lismore in September last year and re-located to Coffs Harbour where we are awaiting the building of our own new home. Unfortunately there have been numerous delays with the new land development we bought in so we are house sitting in the meantime which we are thoroughly enjoying. We have relocated to Coffs Harbour to be near family and to help nurture three of our teenage grandchildren.

Since leaving Lismore we have been taking care of homes and gardens in Sapphire Beach, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Grafton, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Avoca Beach, Woolgoola and Wallabi Point, Taree South and South West Rocks. We have enjoyed caring for cats, large and small dogs, guinea pigs and fish during those stays.

Don is very capable of minor household repairs if needed whilst we are caring for your home if you would like him to.

We have posted 3 character references and also have references on this site from previous sits. We have a copy of Don’s Police check which we would prefer to send privately if you want to see it rather than have it on a public profile.

We are both non-smokers and Don enjoys only a very occasional glass of wine - Sue doesn’t drink alcohol.

We are very happy to meet in person with anyone needing their home minded if that is possible or at the very least to talk by phone or on Skype or FaceTime prior to you making your decision. We are fully aware of what a huge decision it is to have people come into your home and care for it and any precious pets you have.

We are looking forward to meeting more lovely people as we journey through this current season of our lives.
