Hello, I’m Maureen
I’m a retired nurse and animal lover. I’m fairly quiet, a non-smoker, and rarely drink. I enjoy walking, yoga, being in nature, and eating healthy. I’m semi-retired and work from home via Zoom, so I spend plenty of time at home and can give pets and homes consistent attention.

I hold a police clearance and Working With Children card and have excellent references. I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, parrots, fish, mice, stick insects, axolotls, goats, sheep, and horses—each unique and special in their own way.

I love keeping pets in their own homes, following their usual routines, and making them feel safe, happy, and stress-free. Boarding or kennels can be stressful, and I take pride in keeping pets comfortable and loved.

I’ve also volunteered overseas with Wildlife SOS, caring for abused elephants and bears in Thailand and India, helped build a school in Cambodia, and volunteered at Solaris Cancer Care in WA.
