Hi there!

My name is Deb. I'm Australian and I just moved back to Sydney after living in Toronto, Canada for 10 years.

I'm taking some time to reacquaint myself with Sydney over the summer, and to enjoy being with my family again! Although I am new to Mind A Home and official house sitting, I have house sat and pet sat for friends and family over the years!

I love dogs and cats, they give me a lot of joy, and find them to be great company. I like to be pretty active/keep moving. So enjoy taking dogs for walks or playing with pets. I'm a warm affectionate person, so enjoy patting, and snuggling with dogs and cats.

I had a labrador growing up as a child, and my Aunt and Uncle had two Red Kelpies and a cat as well, so I'm, very well versed in the needs of cats, dog training and can maintain your routines, and dog training standards. Plus very happy to give you updates via text/call/email.

I've rented and subletted apartments and rooms during my time in Toronto, and understand what it means to care for another persons apartment. I enjoy a clean space, and am house savvy. I have a good general understanding of residential electrical and plumbing. Plus good with problem solving.

I'm flexible with either short or long term house-sitting positions. I'm looking for house-sitting in Sydney's east Glebe/Newtown or inner west.

Since I am new to Mind A Home and official house-sitting, I am happy to give you personal, work and previous landlord character references, or answer any questions you may have!! I'm also fully vaccinated, and happy to show my certificate.
