More information about this house sitter

My name is Clare. I am a 58 year old divorcee, retired executive, responsible, well-spoken, non-smoker, minimal drinker, driver (auto, manual, tractor!), own car, and very well organised. I have three adult children and three grandchildren. One of my children lives in Sydney, one in Melbourne, and my eldest and grandchildren are in Perth.

Having grown up on a farm, my career took me into the corporate world in London, Melbourne and Sydney - where I lived on the Lower North Shore for eleven years prior to my retirement.

I am an animal lover, and any house-sitting role I undertake I will care for your pets and property to the same standard as you would yourselves – and I would my own.

BY WAY OF FURTHER BACKGROUND:
Born and bred in the UK (and still sounding like a POM!), I have spent the last year living in Queensland following three years in England, just outside Oxford, then in Somerset. Prior to this, Australia has been my home since 1987.

Before I retired from corporate life, I was a Partner in one of the global management consulting and executive search firms – where I worked in Sydney, and the Asia Pacific region in general. I am now writing – a pursuit that can travel with me anywhere.

I have spent roughly half my life in England and the other half Australia. I have dual citizenship. This last few years away has proven to me that home is where the heart is, and the heart is in Australia. From my current Queensland location, I want to spend more time in Sydney where my daughter lives, hence I am available for house sitting, ideally on the Lower North Shore - or nearby.
