I am a retired man married to the same loving wife Val for 52 years. I am a fit and healthy 76 year old.
In a previous life I have been a primary school and special school teacher, having finished my working life some 16 years ago. I am fond of watching football, reading, walking/bushwalking, handyman tasks and horse racing.
Val had a career in nursing and management for over 30 years. She has a passion for gardening, knitting and sewing,caring for her elderly mother and being a grandmother.
We now live in the town of Drouin, Victoria, after living for 33 years on small acreage 5 km out of Drouin where we had a number of pets over the years (both cats and dogs) and an extensive garden.
I can still use a ride-on or motor mower and chainsaw if the need presents itself.
We are both persons of very good character and citizenship.
I have experience in house sitting for friends in Lakes Entrance with 2 very active dogs and also have favourable reviews from housesitting for others with Mindahome. We would be keen to house and pet sit for you for the period specified. We will be staying in Goolwa for the week ending 24th May and will be available before heading home to Drouin. Read more...
