Retired, respectable couple, married for 45+ years, lived in central Queensland all the time (Mel only from 16 years old - Welsh by birth), we had a dog (or two) most of our life, three kids, all married/partner who have 8 children between them (grandkids are great), Mel has never been un-employed and Denise has owned a few businesses and we owned a motel together for a time. I would like to give you an example - we were having an extended holiday in the UK after Mel had taken a redundancy package and we were in the process of renting a house on meeting the owner Mel told him we had no references (Australians on holiday) and he replied "a family like yours do NOT require references"
