More information about this house sitter

We are a mature non-smoking, active professional couple who have recently sold our lovely home. We are good house keepers, security conscious and have some experience house sitting in the last 2 years. Our experience with animals has been with dogs, cats and budgies. We have recently cared for a very active Groodle in Melbourne as well as, a pair of King Charles Cavaliers in Sydney and enjoyed doing so. In the past we have looked after a variety of our own pets but not farm animals or chickens. We are good communicators and appreciate what it takes to establish and maintain a nice home and garden.
We enjoy travelling, visiting our children and our 3 grandchildren, gardening, museums, art galleries, current affairs and community activities. Doug has been involved in Rotary International for the last 26 years and has many roles including as president within his local club. Mary has been involved in multiple community activities and organisations. We can provide reference from previous house owners as necessary and are willing where practical to meet homeowners personally or by live video.
