After living overseas for 3 years I decided to try the house sitting experience while I decided where the next chapter of my life would take me. So last year I had the privilege to do two housesits. One for 3 weeks and the other for 5 weeks. I have since been requested back by both my previous housesits.

One of the housesits included looking after three 12 year dogs. Two of the dogs required daily medication and I needed to prepare special food for all three dogs. My other housesit involved looking after a 13 year old dog. It seems my speciality are senior pets!

I have always had the privilege to have pets in my life and they have served to enrich my life as well as provide me with a great deal of joy. My pet family has consisted of a whole menagerie of animals over the years ranging from cats, dogs, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits and mice. My last doggy companion passed at 15 years of age, she is sorely missed. Almost to the end she would accompany me on my daily walks on the beach.

If you choose to have me look after your home and pets, rest assured I will look after them and love them as if they were my own. I am a home owner myself and so I appreciate people’s concern when it comes to having their home well looked after when they go away. I myself have used a number of house sitters in the past because I did not want to stress out my pets by putting them into a kennel or cattery while I was away. So I realise how important it is that you find just the right person to suit your needs.

Due to the fact that I have been working with children, I do have a police check which I can provide if necessary. Also, I can provide references that can vouch for my trust worthiness and capabilities. I look forward to hearing from you. Read more...
