Hi, I'm Mandy! I have three grown children and have just sold my house because 5 bedrooms is waaayyyyy too much for little me.
I'm semi-retired so do a lot of volunteer work (Hutt Street Centre/Anglicare) which I find very rewarding.
I'm looking to take a little break from the hectic world and just chillax for a while. I don't smoke and I don't allow anyone to smoke in my home, I rarely drink, certainly don't have parties.
I would look after your pets and home with love and care and respect all of your boundaries and rules. (If you said, "Mandy, each day our dog likes you to stand and face the wall for 15 minutes and just stand still." I'd do it. (I'd think your dog was crazy, but I'd do it.)
I love working with the homeless and, until I'm a 'grandma', it's time for me to give back to the community other than just donations. That's why I love Hutt Street so much.
Mark Bressington, from Ouwens Casserly sold my home (he's awesome!) and said he'd be happy to be a referee.
I will treat your house with the utmost respect and I will care for your pets. However, I can't promise that I won't spoil them! ;)
I don't have any pets so it will be a joy. I love cats and dogs because they choose who they like. Goldfish don't seem to appreciate being hugged. LOL
