Hi, I am 70 odd years young and retired 2018 after a very long and rewarding career in libraries. Grew up in country Queensland, and now live in Ipswich, but happy to travel to visit the rest of our great country. Don't currently have a pet, but love them, also love gardening, and just generally looking after animals/things! 😊
I had an Uber licence in 2018, which required a full Police check, and I have just recently, (Feb
2022) renewed my Blue Card, as I volunteer at my grandson's school. I started volunteering with St John's in 2021, which meant another complete Police check.
My photo includes my grandson, who is loving being taller than me.. This was a couple of years ago, so now much taller!
I have also added a photo of my 'grand puppy', Judo, who is a Maltese/Border Collie cross, and he also has a big part of my heart in there too 💓
Have completed many house-sits now, and am loving it. Keen to do more - the different people, areas, pets and homes have been a delight.
I haven't been applying for many house-sits lately as I'm kept pretty busy with call backs from previous jobs, and the greeting I get when the pets recognise me makes it all worth while 😊
A 'No' for me is dogs that are very headstrong on the lead, just a bit too hard on my back for a good walk, unfortunately.. Also, I prefer short stays, two weeks max, 🙂 Read more...
