Hello,
I’m Narelle, an Australian Yoga Therapist, Photographer and writer, and a dance maker.

I’m also a traveller, making images of the land and the places where it echoes our inner body. I write about that, in my project Saltwater Songlines. When I travel, I like to spend time in a place, getting the feel of the rhythm of the land. Recently I have lived for extended periods in Hawai’i, Mexico, New Zealand, the Sunshine and Gold Coasts of Queensland, in Tasmania, and made Pilgrimage to Uluru & Kata Tjuta, and Iceland. This year I’ve been on photo assignments in the jungles of Northern Sumatra and the forests of Finland.

I’ve enjoyed many animals in my lifetime, loving & appreciating the communion of these beautiful fellow beings. I’ve housesat in Tasmania, Sydney, Cairns, on Waiheke Island and Bethells Beach New Zealand and regard each house as Sanctuary and sacred. I love to be involved with gardens, having designed several in my homes in the Blue Mountains (a small bushland acreage of fruit trees, perennials and herbs in cottage gardens), and more more recently, tropical gardens in my once home base of Brisbane.

I’d love to take care of your home, animals and garden for a time, enjoying peace whilst I immerse in my current image, word and movement project, Saltwater Songlines. I’m also writing a book with a Publisher; my life’s work in yoga and Scoliosis.

The beach in particular, coasts, and water of all kinds, are my Place, my Cathedral, or medicine. Along with trees and rocks. Long walking each day is part of my life.
