Hi, my name is brendan and I am a single recently retired male. I have been a homeowner for 32 years, and sold my property at grange south australia near the beach mid 2012. Since then I have been house and pet sitting at Mount Gambier, Clayton Bay, Berwick, Laverton, Narre Warren,West Lakes, Frankston South, Hindmarsh Island, Mernda, Brighton, Dingley Village, Wallington and have just completed housesitiing at a beautiful property at Curlewis.

Before retiring I was for 15 years a correctional escort officer and so I am very aware of security. I believe I am a person who is honest, responsible, reliable and resourceful. I am still learning about computers and how they don't work when I operate them. I value my integrity.

I believe in mutual trust and respect.

I am a non-smoker, and social drinker.

Many years ago I a small farm for about 6 years and had 8-10 sheep which ate apples from my hand, 20 or so chooks, vegie garden and many fruit trees. We also had a house cat .I have looked after cats dogs chooks birds cattle gold fish and mowed lawns and redirected mail for homeowners if they so wished.


Since 1997 I have had a national police clearance and all my house sits have been more than happy with the way I have looked after the property and pets and all said they would be happy to give a reference, if needed.

In my 15 years as a correctional escort officer I became very security aware, and house sitters have said that it has been reassuring to have a person who has awareness of issues that relate to security while they are on holidays. I will update you about your pets by email every week or so if you so desire because I know the pets worry about mummy and daddy.

I believe i am a person of the highest integrity and you can have confidence in me and enjoy your holiday knowing pets and your property are being cared for in a responsible fashion. I have 2 excellent personal references.

I normally explore the area I am in one day and I am home most of the day the next to relax play sudoku read paper and give extra plays with pets, and I like to watch TV especially if you have cable. I am normally home by 500 each day to keep pets happy with feed time.

If you have a nice property and would like it kept as you would, and your pets cared for as you do and are going on holidays for about 3 or more weeks or so, then please consider me, I am flexible with end dates if you want to extend your holiday.
