Welcome to our profile!

We are a couple from Czech Republic (Nikola & Tomas), we can shortly describe us as positive, dynamic, mature, reliable non smokers which most of all love nature & travelling. We are experienced with all kinds of animals starting with a hamster and ending with a horse :-))

Past 2 years we were living in New Zealand (Cambridge) where we were working as horse attendants in one of the most known kiwi racing stables (Marsh Racing). Now (after short visit in Czech Republic) we are planning to work'n'travel throughout Australia, beginning in April 2022.

Nikola:

When "housesitting" came to my mind, I was like : "connecting my greatest passion with my 2nd greatest passion? Brilliant! 100% in! "

I have finished my bachelors Zoology degree on CULS (Czech University of Life Sciences) in Prague in 2019. I am an Animal lover since forever. As a little girl, I have never played with dolls, I have always had a huge collection of animal encyclopedia, plastic animal figures and plush animals - until I got my 1st cat when I was 6 - after that, he was everything that mattered.

I am an typical cat lover - but thats only when I need to pick a side.
For me it does not make a difference, if you need petsitting for a dog (from chihuahua to cane corso) or a cat, a horse or an alpaca, a snake or tarantula collection (as I also have one) :-)), I love them all and I am experienced with most of them.

Tomas :

I have studied public administration and I was working as a technician, but I have always been an animal lover too.
When I was living with my parents and my sister, we had a lot of pets at home - a horse, dogs (german sheperd, boc, golden retriever), a cat, a rat, a hamster, guinea pigs and fishes.

When I met Nikola, she moved into my flat with huge collection of tarantulas, 2 scorpions, 2 snakes and also she mentioned she is volunteering in animal shelter as a "temporary care" for dogs and cats which was not treated well. Since that time I am surrounded by animals all the time :-)).
