More information about this house sitter

Hello. My name is Nina. I'm 65, a non-smoker, police-checked, in excellent health, play tennis and am an avid reader.

I'm a friendly, good-natured and reliable sitter who will care for your fur babies with kindness and commitment. I respect other people's homes and privacy and will keep your place super clean.

So you have peace of mind I will send a regular photo of your pet enjoying their surroundings. I enjoy walking, so will provide your dog with daily exercise. For both cats and dogs, I show them affection with petting, stroking.

A pet lover; my beloved cat passed away last December, aged 17. I grew up with dogs, guinea pigs and a budgie.

I'm a responsible, well-organised professional (ex-secondary teacher, former Production Manager at ABC Television on The Investigators and Playschool; currently a freelance workplace trainer), divorced with no dependants.

I successfully used house sitters in my own home to look after my cat, so I understand what it means to entrust your home and pets to the care of someone else.

I have a loving nature and aim for your animal/s to have a positive experience with me so that when you arrive home you will see contentment in their eyes. I enjoy talking to them and giving them a cuddle.

* * *

Having turned 65 this year, I'm entering the next phase of my life, approaching retirement. Last year I re-registered as a teacher (including Police and Working With Children checks) and through a tutoring company currently coach high school students in English as well as continuing freelance work as a workplace trainer.

RELOCATION

In early February I'm returning to Brisbane, where I grew up, to live closer to family; to make that my base again instead of Sydney. I'm currently packing ready to move out of Sydney and seek house-sits in Sydney from 14 January to 5 February 2017.

I understand the importance of replacing fresh drinking water for your pet daily.

I drive a late model car (2015 Hyundai wagon) which, because of its low, easy-access boot, is recommended for dog owners.

#5 - January 2017
4 nights in Maroochy River, Queensland caring for two dogs and two cats

'I happily endorse Nina for house-sitting. Our two dogs, Hamish and Matilda, and two cats, Simone and Trim, were in excellent shape when we arrived home. She took great care of everything. The house was beautiful to come home to. In fact, it was a little tidier than we left it. I appreciated her staying in communication by sending an occasional photo, reassuring us that our pets were thriving in our absence.'
Trish, Maroochy River
