***LOOKING FOR A PLACE IN ADELAIDE ASAP - 3 WEEKS MIN!***

Hello there! I’m Marin, a Screenwriter from Adelaide. Let’s do this in dot points, shall we?

WORK

• As a Screenwriter I spend most of time writing, or thinking about my stories, or reading or watching movies; needless to say I’m pretty quiet and calm
• I’ve written for Producers and Directors both local and international, and I’ve made a short film
• I’ve worked as a visual effects and film Production Assistant
• Last September I attended the 4-day London Screenwriters’ Festival as a delegate

LIFESTYLE

• I’m vegetarian and I love to cook; I’m very clean and hygienic in this regard and will leave your kitchen spic and span
• I particularly love to bake cakes and I’m very good at it
• I don’t eat fast food, and I don’t smoke either
• I don't do parties; my idea of a big night is a movie marathon, with cake!
• I love to travel; in the past I’ve travelled to Japan, England, Scotland, France, the Netherlands, and the USA, and I spent last September/October in London, Manchester, New York, and Los Angeles

PETCARE

• I adore animals, especially dogs; I have a dog who lives with my parents as he has a medical condition and it’s better for his health that he stays at their large property
• Also at the folks’ house are chickens, canaries, quails, and a turtle (all of which I’ve cared for as I live there between rentals/international travel/housesitting); in the past I’ve also owned horses, sheep, cattle, ducks, budgies, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, and rabbits
• I know basic animal first aid and I’m very calm in a crisis; I’ve dealt with dogs with broken legs, horses with colic, orphaned lambs, injured native animals, etc.
• I am experienced in giving animals medication and feel confident doing this; I’ve administered syrups, tablets, powders, worming pastes, and injections, plus treated wounds and removed sutures, etc.; my own dog has spent years on steroids, antibiotics, vitamins, etc., due to a lifelong medical condition
• As well as having many pets of my own, I’ve also cared for other family members’ pets, the neighbours’ pets, and of course the pets at the homes I’ve sat

EXPERIENCE

• I can provide excellent references/referees for previous housesitting positions
• I’ve looked after regular suburban homes, apartments, and large rural properties; I’ve cared for pets and gardens as well as the homes themselves
• I’ve rented several places myself, including apartments, beachside bungalows, and townhouses

WHY HOUSESITTING?

• I want to housesit now in 2017 as I’m looking to gain new experiences and inspiration by moving around to different places, meeting new people, and seeing new things; this is great for my writing!
• I’m looking for a place/s in Adelaide or surrounds, ideally near a train station as I don’t drive; I'd like to consider house-sits from three weeks to 3 months in duration but this is always negotiable

*I am currently looking for a place in Adelaide - CBD or just on the outskirts (eastern suburbs, etc.) to sit from July 26th to September 6!*
