Hi, my name is Matt, I'm 45 years old. I moved to Canberra in 2018 from the South Coast to be closer to my daughter.

My daughter lives with mostly her mum in Griffith. In 2020 she will be going into Year 9 at Telopea Park High School. She stays with me every second weekend and sometimes during the week. Her mother and I are fairly flexible with when she stays with us.
My daughter (Angel) was the only child in a big family full of adults for ten years so she is very mature and a great kid!
After teaching Japanese and History to high school kids for about 17 years I'm now working in the field of Special Education. I have a permanent position at Namadgi School.
I'm saving for a deposit for a house of my own so I've decided to housesit again. I've never been able to own a pet in the places I've rented over the years- housesitting lets me and Angel have some time with animals that I we wouldn't otherwise get.
