I have recently returned to my home state of Tasmania after 3 months travelling on the mainland and am looking for housesitting positions while I find somewhere to live on a more permanent basis. I grew up with cats and dogs and owned several cats when I had a family. I love dogs but chose not to own any as I do a lot of bushwalking and camping in National Parks where dogs are not allowed. Before I went away I did a house sit for 6 weeks caring for two elderly cats, chooks and a large garden. I enjoy gardening and have missed having my own garden since I’ve been travelling. Also, I have looked after several dogs for family and friends when they have been away. I enjoy going for walks with dogs as it can be a very social activity as you often get into conversation with other people.
