Hello! We’re Karen & Paul – Responsible, Caring & Experienced House Sitters
We’re a reliable, active couple based in Perth, Western Australia, embracing a new chapter of life filled with travel, meaningful experiences, and the opportunity to care for homes and pets along the way.
Paul recently retired after selling his successful business, and I (Karen) am a passionate photographer who finds joy in capturing the beauty of nature, landscapes, and life’s quieter moments. We’re both excited to explore Australia and the world—especially those special places we might never have discovered without house sitting.

Why We Love House Sitting........
We see house sitting as a way to immerse ourselves in different communities while giving homeowners peace of mind. It’s a privilege to be entrusted with someone’s home and beloved pets, and we don’t take that lightly. While we don’t currently have pets of our own, we adore animals and love being able to care for them as part of our sits. We look after our daughter’s two Toy Poodles when she goes on holidays and this is a time we can enjoy her animals.

Our first house sit was a wonderful experience and we received a lovely review from the homeowner. We're happy to share it with you, along with our current police clearances for added peace of mind.

A Little About Us.........
We own our home in Perth, where we grow vegetables and fruit trees, and keep six happy hens. Karen is the keen gardener, and Paul is a skilled carpenter who loves keeping things well-maintained. When we travel, our home is looked after by Paul’s sister and a close friend—so we understand what it’s like to leave your home in someone else’s care, and how important trust is.
We’re both tidy, respectful, practical, and caring. Whether it’s maintaining your garden, walking the dog, keeping your cat company, feeding your guinea pigs or your beautiful birds or just ensuring your home is safe and secure—we’ll look after everything as if it were our own.
