I live in NZ but would like to stay in Sydney over the Xmas holidays. I want some quiet time to do my drawing, reading and studying Spanish and I would ideally like to have some pet company over this time. I don’t have any pets at home at present.

I love all animals and yours will get plenty of care and attention from me. I am fit and love walking so dogs love me. People are always commenting that their cats don’t normally like strangers – but they like me.

I have had my own dogs, cats and horses over the years and take a great interest everyone else’s animals. I have a lot of skills in reading body language and behaviour of animals. I took on a difficult 5 year old dog that needed rehoming, we bonded while I retrained him and he was the best dog ever. I can also train horses from wild to rideable using a natural horsemanship method which is very gentle.

I have worked voluntarily for an Animal Shelter in London and Horse Rescue Australia – both for several years.

I lived in Sydney for 20 years about 10 years ago so I am very familiar with it and have some friends there and I have spent alot of time staying with freinds in Kangaroo Valley NSW for over 30 years.

I am a gardener and I actually have a diploma of horticulture from many years ago, your garden & indoor plants will also be safe with me. Read more...
